With at least three shows booked for each month from November through April, and four in February, residents will have quite a few options to pick from when filling out their social calendars over the next six months!

For those who are new to the entertainment schedule, it is broken town into three different series of shows.

The Big Show Series features widely popular musical acts performing all types of hit music.

The Comedy Cabaret Series brings in national comedians and is hosted in a more intimate setting.

The Special Performances Series covers a broad range of topics including musicals, holiday features, and big band performances.

The Big Show Series

Each of the shows in this series will have two different show times, one at 6:00 pm and another at 8:15 pm. There will also be a cash bar for these events that starts at 5:00 pm. The ticket prices for these shows generally fall right around the $30 range for members and are $5 more for guests.

This years Big Show Series will be featuring famous bands like The Flamingos, Rare Earth, and The Cowsills. There will also be shows from Sonny Turner of the Platters and Scherrie Payne and Lynda Laurence who are former members of the Supremes.

Tributes to Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bill Haley & The Comets are also scheduled.

The Comedy Cabaret Series

The Comedy Cabaret Series is your chance to spend an evening laughing alongside friends and neighbors thanks to some of the best comedians in the business.

These shows are held in the Hampton Room and all start at 7:00 pm with a cash bar opening half an hour before the show starts. Tickets for each of the shows in the Comedy Cabaret Series are $15 for members and $20 for guests.

This years lineup of comedians features Jimmie Walker, who is famous for his role as J.J. Evans on Good Times.

Also on this year’s schedule are Tom Ryan, who has been seen on a number of television shows, Scott Novotny, who often draws comparisons to Red Skelton and Robin Williams, and Florida’s own Valarie Storm.

Some of the interesting shows in this year’s Special Performances Series include a full stage production of some of the most beloved Broadway musicals, a heartwarming family Christmas show, tributes to Buddy Holly and Bob Crosby, and performances from The Glenn Miller Orchestra and the Tampa Bay Heralds of Harmony.

With the wide range of offerings available in this year’s entertainment schedule, there is something for just about everyone to get excited about. The way that the shows are scheduled means that there is a show on a Tuesday or Thursday almost every week from the beginning of November straight through until the end of April.
