This highly regarded and nationally distributed publication is designed to be a helpful resource for retirement planning.  In arriving at the finalist list, communities are judged on a variety of factors including climate, cost of living, home prices, taxes, crime and health care.

Skyview Tennis Heads for National Championship

tennisThe tennis program offered on the hard courts at Citrus Hills and Har-tru center at Skyview continue to grow as one of the foremost programs in this  region.  In addition to just great daily play, the program involves tennis enthusiasts in an array of competitive events including a series of local and USTA sanctioned leagues in a variety of age and skill levels.

This past competitive season the club’s tennis program produced an entry in the upcoming National Championships.  Skyview’s 3.0 Senior Women’s team captured the state title and is now headed to national level competition this October in Arizona. (more…)

Mike and Jean Haight

mike-and-jean-haightFor years Mike and Jean Haight had been visiting relatives in Ocala and exploring the entire region.  Those experiences convinced them that this general area of Florida was ultimately where they wanted to retire.  When the time came they were faced with the decision of just where in the area they would settle for their new home.

“It was love at first sight,” Jean says, “I was on a fact finding mission while Mike was still in California when I drove up to Terra Vista and saw the entrance and beautifully manicured landscaping.  I just knew that this was the place for us.”

Within a couple of weeks Mike visited and without hesitation agreed that they had found the jewel they had been seeking.  They both were attracted to the area’s natural beauty.
